Mr. Lawless has 12 years of diverse environmental consulting experience, which includes GHG inventory development and verification; carbon footprinting; sustainability reporting; carbon life cycle analyses; regulatory compliance; site assessment and remediation; environmental liability analysis; and litigation support. He has broad knowledge of all major GHG reporting and verification protocols, standards and tools including those from the WRI/WBCSD, California Climate Action Registry and The Climate Registry. Mr. Lawless is also an accredited Lead Verifier for the California Air Resources Board Mandatory GHG emissions reporting program, with sector accreditation for electricity transactions, as well as a Lead Verifier for The Climate Registry and California Climate Action Registry. Mr. Lawless has extensive GHG inventory development and verification experience for several sectors including: chemical, utility, manufacturing, municipal, waste management, food & beverage, transportation, office-based organizations and others. He also leads climate action planning, sustainability reporting and waste minimization projects for his San Francisco Bay area clients. Mr. Lawless has consulted to a diverse group of clients including Fortune 100 companies, law firms, insurance companies, local municipalities as well as federal agencies.

Mr. Lawless holds a Master of Science degree in Environmental Management from the University of San Francisco.
