GHG Mandatory Reporting & Verification

Cameron-Cole is one of three Massachusetts firms recognized by the
Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) as a
firm that may conduct verification services for the Massachusetts Greenhouse
Gas (GHG) Emissions Reporting Program. Under this program, MassDEP regulates
the requirements and methodologies used by facilities to report their
emissions. To date, Cameron-Cole has been selected by several Massachusetts
firms to conduct verifications, with numerous proposals pending. To obtain

California Air Resources Board GHG Verification
The California Air Resources Board (ARB) has implemented the Mandatory Greenhouse
Gas Emissions (GHG) Reporting rule under the California Global Warming Solutions
Act of 2006 (AB 32). This rule requires approximately 700 facilities in California
to report their GHG emissions. For more information regarding the reporting rule,

Cameron-Cole is an ARB-accredited verification body for all sectors including
General Stationary Combustion, Petroleum Refineries, Cement Plants and Power Entities.
Cameron-Cole has several staff members who have passed the rigorous
California Air Resources Board accreditation process to become greenhouse gas verifiers
under the AB 32 program.

The Climate Registry
The Climate Registry (TCR) is a nonprofit collaboration among North American
states, provinces, territories and Native Sovereign Nations that sets consistent
and transparent standards to calculate, verify and publicly report greenhouse
gas emissions into a single registry. Cameron-Cole joined The Climate Registry as
a Founding Member in December 2007.
Cameron-Cole is an approved technical assistance provider for TCR members and is
also accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) to provide
verification services to reporters in the program. We have a decade of verification

The California Climate Action Registry
On April 2, 2009, the Climate Action Reserve (“the Reserve”) announced it had become the
successor organization to the California Climate Action Registry. The Reserve is now
the nonprofit parent organization, and the California Climate Action Registry is a
program under its umbrella.
Cameron-Cole has been and continues to be an approved technical assistance provider and
