Cameron-Cole provides independent third-party verification of greenhouse gas inventories and external reports. This service is designed to help our clients reduce risk, increase efficiency, maintain quality, increase credibility, and provide assurance to stakeholders that the information is true and a fair accounting of the organization’s emissions and reductions. We provide independent third-party verification to a number of leading domestic and international standards and guidelines, and verification is tailored to provide the appropriate level of assurance based on the end-use of the information. In countries where there is no regulatory mandate to do so, organizations are voluntarily responding to stakeholder concerns to address the increasingly important issue of disclosing greenhouse gas emissions from their value chain. As such, a significant amount of greenhouse gas information is being generated and put in the public domain by a wide variety of organizations. Concern over the quality of this information has been raised in the media and by stakeholders, and Cameron-Cole’s independent third-party verification services are specifically designed to address those concerns.
