Eric Mehlhoff
Environmental Strategist
Mr. Mehlhoff consults with industries in a variety of areas including
greenhouse gas inventory development and verification, climate change
and energy reduction strategies, environmentally preferable procurement,
and corporate social and environmental report development and environmental
action planning. He has designed and implemented green purchasing
programs with both public and private organizations, including the development
of purchasing specifications and tracking and reporting systems; developed
packaging guidelines; and created scorecards to rate supplier environmental
performance. He is knowledgeable of international environmental standards,
protocols and initiatives, and has extensively studied forestry projects
under CDM of Kyoto Protocol and in the European Union Emissions Trading Scheme.
He holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Columbia University, New York,
and a B.A. from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota.
