Washington State Department of Ecology
Cameron-Cole is certified by the Washington State Department of Ecology as a verification body for its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reporting verification program. For emissions year (EY) 2017, the Washington state facilities subject to United States Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) and Ecology reporting requirements must submit their GHG emissions reports to Ecology by April 2, 2018. The EY2017 GHG emissions reports must be verified by August 30, 2018. In 2018, 29 Washington facilities will be required to verify their GHG emissions reports. Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection
Cameron-Cole is recognized by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) as a greenhouse gas (GHG) verification body. Under this program, MassDEP regulates the requirements and methodologies used by facilities to report their GHG emissions. California Air Resources Board GHG Verification
The California Air Resources Board has implemented the Mandatory Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHG) Reporting rule under the California Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006 (AB 32). This rule and subsequent revisions require over 700 facilities, suppliers (of natural gas, CO2, and transportation fuels) and power entities in California to report their GHG emissions each year.
Cameron-Cole is an ARB-accredited verification body with sector specialty accreditations for process emissions; transactions; and, oil and gas. Cameron-Cole is also an ARB-accredited verification body under the Compliance Offset Program. Our ARB accredited verification team has collectively conducted over 500 GHG verifications and has over 40 years of GHG verification experience. The Climate Registry
The Climate Registry (TCR) is a nonprofit collaboration among North American states, provinces, territories and Native Sovereign Nations that sets consistent and transparent standards to calculate, verify and publicly report greenhouse gas emissions into a single registry. Cameron-Cole joined The Climate Registry as a Founding Member in December 2007.
Cameron-Cole is an approved verification body and technical assistance provider for TCR members. Cameron-Cole is among the most active verification bodies within TCR’s program. British Columbia Greenhouse Gas Reduction (Cap and Trade) Act, Reporting Regulation
British Columbia’s (B.C.) Greenhouse Gas Reduction (Cap and Trade) Act passed in May 2008. This Cap and Trade Act authorizes hard caps on GHG emissions, making B.C. the first Canadian province to introduce such legislation. It also authorizes the GHG Reporting Regulation, which was enacted in November 2009. The GHG Reporting Regulation sets out the requirements for B.C. facilities with GHG emissions to report these emissions to the B.C. Ministry of Environment (the Ministry) each year. American National Standards Institute
Cameron-Cole is an ANSI-Accredited Greenhouse Gas Verification Body— Accreditation #0871— for the following Organization-Level Groups: Group 1 – General; Group 2 – Manufacturing; Group 3 – Power Generation; Group 4 – Electric Power Transactions; Group 5 – Mining and Mineral Production; Group 7 – Chemical Production; Group 8 – Oil and Gas Extraction Production and Refining Including Petrochemicals; and Group 9 – Waste. We provide greenhouse gas emission inventory verification services to organizations in voluntary or regulatory programs that require Verification Bodies (VBs) to carry such accreditation. ANSI is a private, nonprofit membership organization that has served as administrator and coordinator of the U.S. private sector voluntary standardization system for more than 90 years. The Institute oversees the creation, promulgation and use of thousands of norms and guidelines that directly impact businesses in nearly every sector.
