Our “ownership perspective” approach to property support services comes from our roots as a corporate in-house consulting organization where we were real estate owners, buyers and sellers.

Cameron-Cole provides property development support services for all sizes of projects from normal, single property transfers with little or no known contamination, through complex, multiproperty exchanges involving known pollutants. Our team is a leader and national provider of quality environmental due diligence services, which may be performed prior to mortgage financing, purchase or redevelopment of real estate.
The Cameron-Cole team has conducted nationwide and regional environmental due diligence work for many of the more active parties in this market, and has been involved in many highly visible real estate transactions throughout major metropolitan areas of the U.S. Our experience has led us to understand the critical aspects involved in the delivery of environmental services to support missions involving real estate transactions.
Our Real Estate Property Support team has over fifty years of collective project experience in brownfield and other property redevelopment projects, including environmental assessments for commercial property transactions and management of construction and remediation projects, soil and groundwater characterization, technical support for closure projects for commercial and industrial sites, human and ecological risk assessments, database management and working with risk management professionals.
Our experience has led us to understand two critical aspects involved in the provision of environmental services to support real estate transactions: timely delivery and communication.
Environmental Site Assessments — ASTM Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Phase II and Phase III investigations, regulatory agency negotiations
Property Condition Assessments (PCAs) — ASTM-based assessments of buildings’ condition
Environmental Risk Management — Our mitigation experts (engineers, waste management experts, hydrogeologists) consult in a risk management role with the client’s risk management team to assist their understanding of environmental impacts and the potential risk these may represent
Property Redevelopment Support — ESAs (Phase I AAI assessment, Phase II investigation, Phase III remediation), risk assessments, including ecological and human health risks
Asbestos Management and Indoor Air Quality — Asbestos inspections and abatement design, planning, cost estimation and project management, certification, and contractor selection, and health and safety monitoring; indoor air quality (mold, radon, chemicals) assessment and management, design review for structural and mechanical systems, and construction management for IAQ issues and remediation
Site Remediation — Full service remediation (design, construction oversight, certification) for impacted soil and groundwater associated with historical manufacturing operations, leaking underground storage tanks, and nonpermitted landfills; management and oversight of building demolition and restoration
Stormwater Management — Permitting and management services, including training, administration of access rights and fees
