Natural Gas Processing Plant Closure Plan

Cameron-Cole conducted a treatability study on two pits at a Wyoming natural gas processing plant. The two pits were in service for over 20 years and historically received lean oil, crude oil, water, oily sludge, and processed water wastes. The results of the treatability study were then incorporated into a Closure Plan and submitted to the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality for review and approval. Following approval of the plan, Cameron-Cole successfully treated the pits’ contents, rendering them inert, and proceeded with abandoning the pits. A Post Closure Plan was developed, approved, and implemented. The entire project was completed within cost estimates and on schedule.
