Railyard Workplan for Remediation and Closure

Cameron-Cole performed comprehensive site characterization, soil, and groundwater remediation at a railyard in Eastern Oregon. Site characterization and remedial activities included workplan development and regulatory interface that addressed off-site well remedies, laboratory studies, facility upgrade, revised spill response, interim soil management, source area investigation, and pilot-scale test sites. Soil boring and groundwater monitoring wells were installed to sample groundwater for analysis. This led to the completion of Current Conditions and Site Characterization Reports to develop an Interim Remedial Action Work Plan. With the plan set in place, soil and groundwater remediation systems were installed at the project site. The implementation and completion of site characterization and remedial activities resulted in obtaining a No Further Action Declaration for the client.
